Job Function: 

To oversee all marketing activities for Stroud Brewery. 

Working with our sales, bar & venue teams and drawing on external support when required, and within budget, to increase brand awareness and customer touch points to drive direct and indirect sales.

Stroud Brewery is an organic brewery and a B Corps business.

Our mission is to make outstanding organic beer without damaging the planet and bring people together to inspire positive change

We are seeking a marketing coordinator to support the sale of our beers across all our routes to market. We wish to maximise on our social media marketing to raise awareness of our products and values with the aim to rapidly grow our national sales.

Salary, Holiday and Benefits

Salary: £21,500 - £25,650 DOE

Holiday: 28 days (Includes Bank Holidays) plus an additional Length of Service allowance of 1 day/year to max 5 days

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy
  • Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter LinkedIn, others as required
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
  • Collaborate with other teams, like sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency and recognise opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Stroud Brewery team to create a social media calendar, plan content & campaigns, taking into account national holidays, national hashtag days & global environmental awareness days etc
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics (Shopify & Google analytics)
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
  • Review analytics and report on key metrics
  • Facilitate the ongoing development and management of our social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness like promotions, competitions & collaborations 
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Networking with like-minded companies to share knowledge, news & create opportunities

Competencies:

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Social media manager
  • Experience in content management
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats
  • Copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Interest or understanding of environmental issues
  • Excellent communication skills: listening, written and verbal
  • Computer literate - Google for business, spreadsheets etc
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
