A beer perfect for colder winter months, We’ve used a Belgian yeast, fermented warmer than usual and using plenty of specialty malts to gives this beer a flavour profile of dark fruits with a caramel sweetness that compliments the use of simple hops to let the flavour of the yeast shine.
A SMaSH is a Single Malt and Single Hop Pale ale. This style of beer is a great way to explore the characteristics of a particular malt and specific hop.
The Nelson Sauvin hops we used brings a light fruitiness with notes of grapefruit and gooseberry.
