Stroud Brewery’s summer of success continues as it reaches the finals of two national awards – its taproom has made it through two tough rounds to reach the final of Great British Pub Awards, and its session ale, Easy Peasy, is in the running for the title of New Beer of the Year. This is fantastic recognition for the brewery and for the power of local. It shows that an independent, craft brewery can provide high quality, tasty beer as good (if not better!) as any national brand whilst keeping its local community at the heart of what it does...

The new solar panels just fitted onto Stroud Brewery’s roof mean that the brewery’s sustainability work can continue whether the sun’s shining or if it’s raining. The solar PV panels will turn sunshine into renewable energy to power the brewery, and the toilets are flushed using rainwater collected and cleaned by the rainwater harvesting system.
